Fall season patterns have started arriving here at The Fabric Fairy and here are some of our favorites.

First off is Peek A Boo Pattern Shop.  Amy, the designer at Peek a Boo, sent us a new v-neck long sleeved t-shirt, skinny jeans, and cowl neck pullover PDF patterns for fall.  All are instant downloads so you have them minutes after purchase.

We recently got in new printed paper patterns from Modkid as well!  Enjoy the “Hailey” which is a tunic dress and the back to school favorite “Piper” is an adorable jumper with two-tone pleated panels on the skirt and a cute front pocket.

GreenStyle just came out with the cutest ruffle pant pattern for girls size 2-12.  Using your favorite stretch knit, these will be quickly become a favorite!

Brand new to The Fabric Fairy at the end of June was GreenStyle PDF Patterns!  I love these patterns!  They have a wide range of size offerings and have a more modern/trendy styling for the young girl and tween.

I also love the yoga skirt pattern and this is for women’s sizing!  So easy you could whip this up in approx. 20 minutes!

Lily Giggle Patterns at The Fabric Fairy
Jan.14

Please welcome Lily Giggle to The Fabric Fairy!  So many cute options, easy to sew, and these patterns can use fabric off the bolt or recycled fabrics from clothes you have in your own home!  I think my favorite of the whole bunch is the Odelia Skirt.  I think I am drawn to it simply because it is for me and how often do we sew for ourselves right?!?!

And of course, you gotta have the matching skirt for a mother/daughter day!

We are still working on building up our solids section here at TFF but I thought these three would make such a funky, fun skirt!  Enjoy!

Welcome Fishsticks Designs
Dec.1

Earlier this month we added a new downloadable pattern company called Fishsticks Designs.  Fishsticks offers sewing patterns for unique and modern clothing that is always practical for you and your family.  You’ll find that most Fishsticks patterns are sewn with cotton knit fabrics because that is exactly the fabric that most of us live our lives in. Each pattern includes step-by-step instructions with words and pictures so that you can read and see what to do next.

The owner/creator of Fishsticks Designs is Bonnie Ferguson.  She is a mom to six children, two girls and four boys. Because her youngest three are boys she focuses a lot on designing patterns that work great for boys.  She also creates patterns with an incredible amount of versatility so that you can become comfortable with a pattern and go back to it again and again without your end products looking exactly the same. You will to be able to build a whole wardrobe for your child from just a few patterns.

Browse Fishsticks Designs and give them a try!

Downloadable Patterns Galore!
Nov.2

Since reopening in October, I have taken on two new downloadable pattern companies in addition to the four we already carry!  I am pleased to be working with Jodi of Jocole Patterns and Tiffany and Shannon of Create Kids Couture!  All their patterns are available on the site for purchase and automatically arrive in your order email once payment is made.  Some customers have been having difficulty finding it, but in your order email, next to the title of the pattern is a link called “download”.  Click that and you are taken to your downloadable pattern!  It’s that easy!

Some of my favorites from the newest additions are Sophia’s Open Back Ruffle Dress by Create Kids Couture.

And I am also wanting to try the Everyday Ruffle Knit Pants by Jocole!  They just look so comfy!

Lastly, I am in the middle of of a project from Violette Field Threads called the Ava Flower.  It is a beautiful felt dahlia you can make into a hair piece or accent for a hat.  My daughter and I are cutting out the pieces now…hopefully with completion happening this weekend!  I’ll take pictures of the finished product!

Happy sewing everyone!  ~Meg
