Sharing Our Logo

The Fabric Fairy is a family run business. Although it is Caroline's vision, everyone in the household helps, whether it be by advising on computer and accounting technicalities (Mr. Fabric Fairy), cutting fabric swatches (Sammy Elf), helping to count yardage (Elizabeth Elf) or lifting The Fabric Fairy's spirits with her sweet smile during a hard day (Molly Elf).

When it came to designing our logo, it was no different. Caroline sat down and began to draw her vision of a magical fabric fairy and soon was bombarded by advice. "The fairy lives in the forest mama" "You forgot the mushrooms" "The fairy is lonely, mama, she needs some animals to keep her company". After many more such suggestions, the logo was drawn, and then sent to Jen of Ferfer Designs to be spiffed up and colorized.

When the Elfs saw the finished product, they were so thrilled that they wanted Caroline to make them clothes out of "the picture" (can you tell they grew up with a mama who sews for them?). Caroline obliged with matching t-shirts with the logo, and soon had several requests for similar shirts from the Elfs' friends. As she was creating gear for various lilliputins, Caroline realized that her customers might be interested in sporting their own fairy, owl, hedgehog, etc. as well.

It is on this note that we invite you to browse our treasure chest and bring just a little bit of Fabric Fairy mythology into your home.
