All fabric is priced by the yard and most our fabric is sold by the 1/2 yard. To purchase less than a yard, simply put ".5" into the shopping cart. Our solid cotton ribbing is sold by the quarter yard. To purchase simply put ".25" into the shopping cart for a 1/4 yard. When you order more than one yard, we try our Fairy best to cut continuous yardage. Occasionally, we are unable to do so. We will contact you via email before your order ships if this is the case. All trims are sold by the yard.
Our downloadable patterns arrive in a .pdf format via email after you have completed payment and will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view them. Click "download" in your automatic email you receive from The Fabric Fairy when you purchase to download. No paper copy of the patterns will be mailed. No refunds/returns will be issued for downloadable patterns due to the nature of the product.
All fabrics and trims sold at The Fabric Fairy are not manufactured by The Fabric Fairy and are used by consumers for a wide variety of final applications. If you are producing children's items that require any specific testing you must have your item third party tested as The Fabric Fairy is not a children's fabric manufacturer and only purchases fully furnished goods from third party suppliers.
We accept PayPal and Visa, Mastercard, or Discover Card credit cards, as well as debit cards bearing the MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card logo. All payments are processed by a PCI Compliant merchant processor and are 100% secure. All transactions are processed in U.S. dollars.
We want you to be not just satisfied, but absolutely thrilled with your shopping experience! Please, don't be shy--feel free to ask questions before you order, so that we can help you purchase exactly what you want. If you do decide something that you order is not to your liking, however, we will happily refund the full purchase price of returns made within two weeks after receipt of the merchandise, no questions asked! If we have sent you the wrong product we will send you the correct fabric if we can or issue a refund if it is out of stock. If you find that there is a significant printing flaw that we have overlooked on a fabric you have ordered, we will of course refund the purchase price of the fabric that is damaged or send you a new piece if it is a fabric still in stock. If you purchased a solid colored fabric and feel it is different from what is shown online, you can certainly return it per our policy above. We do our best to properly represent color but color may vary slightly from what is shown online. We always recommend a swatch if you need a perfect match. Please note that items that have been washed, dyed, sewn, cut and/or used cease to be eligible for return.
If you buy it, we'll find a way to ship it to you, wherever you are! We ship using the United States Postal Service and Fed Ex.
We know that when you order your fabric, you want to have it in your hands right away so you can begin creating with it! At The Fabric Fairy, we make it a priority to try to get your order shipped out to you within 48-72 hours of your placing it. At some times we are busier than others so we can't guarantee that it will always be 48-72 hours, but we do our best to ship all orders out to you within that time frame, excluding weekends and holidays. We ship using Priority United States Postal Service, Fed Ex Home Delivery, Fed Ex Ground, and Fed Ex SmartPost. If you would like SAME DAY shipping, meaning we would cut and ship your order the same day the order is received, simply add this Same Day Shipping option to your order.
Combining Shipping/Holding Orders
We are happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases made by the same customer--we want to help you as much as we can during these difficult economic times, and often times combining purchases can help you hit the $125 free shipping* mark! (Domestic United States Customers Only) Please let us know via email that you are planning on making more than one purchase, and would like us to combine shipping. We will hold your package and send it along with your next order. If you would like both packages held for a 3rd order, be sure to write us a new email, explaining to wait on shipping so that we can combine the first 2 packages with the third order, and repeat the process for each additional order you would like held. Please pay for shipping at the time of your purchase--shipping charges will be combined and overages refunded at the time the orders are shipped out to ensure accuracy.
All domestic orders that total $125 or more after any discounts have been taken and before shipping has been applied ship FREE anywhere in the United States! For our domestic customers whose purchases don't qualify for free shipping, we offer a discounted scale of flat rate shipping fees:

$26 - $50--> $8 shipping
$51 - $74--> $10 shipping
$75 - $124--> $12 shipping
Over $125--> FREE shipping
International shipping is calculated at checkout, and we charge only the actual shipping costs. Our cart is not always 100% accurate in calculating international shipping, and occasionally charges more than the actual shipping cost. We refund any international shipping charges you pay over and above the actual cost of shipping.
We ship internationally using the United States Postal Service Global Priority Mail, and charge actual shipping. If you would like to get an idea of your shipping charges before you check out, you can use the international shipping calculator at USPS.com. You will need to enter the United States as the country of origin, your country as the destination, and the weight of the package. For the purpose of estimating the weight of your fabric, most fabric weighs about 1 pound per yard, although quilting wovens and poplins only weigh about 1/2 pound per yard, and heavier fabrics like fleeces and corduroys will weigh a little more than 1 pound per yard. Please note that we will not check the "gift" box on the customs form or underestimate the value of package contents to help you avoid customs fees. Should a package be delayed in transit once we have conveyed it to the carrier, we will do our best to help track it, but we cannot be held responsible for missing international packages. We highly recommend that you purchase insurance for your shipment, and will do so for you upon request.
Lastly, if you choose a flat rate envelope or box and we are unable to fit your fabric, we will have to contact you for any additional shipping costs and it may delay receipt of your package. If you are ever unsure, please contact us before placing your order so we can assist you!
